Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager leads the residential support team, overseeing the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. This position ensures that services are delivered in compliance with Cornerstone policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review assessments and collaborate with individuals to identify needed supports and services.
• Monitor progress toward goals, adjust Individual Support Plans based on feedback, and report quarterly to Support Coordinators.
• Maintain comprehensive service documentation and ensure the group home environment meets appearance, cleanliness, and community integration standards.
• Provide shift coverage during staff shortages while retaining primary management duties.
• Train staff on program updates, conduct investigations of abuse or neglect, and implement corrective actions.
• Work with the Administrator and Site Managers on scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Attend quality management meetings, facilitate relationships with families and Support Coordinators, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and meeting state/company training requirements.
• Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) credential or a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• Ability to supervise site managers and direct support staff, conduct training, and deliver presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with government officials, families, and diverse community members.
