Program Manager, Enterprise AI Literacy & Enablement

About the role

Applied Materials is the world’s largest supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and is driving AI adoption across the enterprise. This role leads a change initiative to move employees from AI‑curious to AI‑proficient, designing and executing a multi‑year AI literacy program at global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AI literacy roadmap, defining multi‑year curriculum segmented by role, function, and proficiency tier, and translating it into quarterly execution plans.
• Drive measurable capability gains by instrumenting programs against KPIs such as adoption rate, proficiency level, time saved, productivity impact, and confidence scores.
• Design and deliver leader‑facing workshops on Applied Materials’ AI tool stack, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Build and activate an AI Champion Network, recruiting and supporting ambassadors across business units.
• Lead change‑management activities, mapping adoption barriers and developing mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Compliance, and Data Governance to ensure alignment with responsible‑AI principles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of program or change‑management experience in a large, complex enterprise.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
• Strong sense of organizational culture and political dynamics.
• Ability to anticipate downstream effects and map risks before recommendations.
• Experience designing and facilitating executive‑level learning experiences, preferably with AI or digital‑transformation content.

Required skills

• Hands‑on familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
• Hands‑on familiarity with GitHub Copilot or equivalent productivity AI platforms.
