Program Management Operations Lead

About the role

REGENT is building a new category of coastal transportation with its Seaglider craft. As the Program Management Operations Lead you will design, build, and run the operating system for the flagship Viceroy program and future projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the program operating cadence, including reviews, risk boards, and action/decision logs.
• Stand up gate readiness tracking for PDR and CDR, managing entry criteria, evidence, and review logistics.
• Facilitate risk management with structured registers and mitigation ownership.
• Implement and administer tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet, creating workflows and dashboards.
• Build and maintain trusted program dashboards and metrics for leadership.
• Scale the operating system from Viceroy to REGENT’s broader program portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong experience in program operations, planning/controls, or PMO roles on complex hardware development programs (aerospace, defense, marine, automotive, etc.).
• Proven track record of creating program processes from scratch that teams adopt.
• Direct experience supporting design gate mechanics (PDR/CDR) and managing readiness tracking.
• Hands‑on fluency with workflow and dashboard tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Demonstrated discipline in closing actions, decisions, and risks.
• Ability to balance rigor with speed, adding structure only where needed.
