Program Director – Digital & Creative Projects

About the role

The Program Director will oversee a portfolio of digital and creative projects, guiding project managers and ensuring delivery excellence for client accounts. This senior leader partners across disciplines, manages finances, staffing, and drives continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enable a program delivered by multiple Project Managers, building operational cadences, finance trackers, and resourcing plans.
• Lead status meetings, client reviews, and stakeholder communications, acting as the main point of contact for clients.
• Manage budgets (typically under $1 MM) and teams of up to 20, approving invoices and purchase orders.
• Analyze project health, report financial metrics, and identify post‑launch opportunities.
• Champion project‑management fundamentals, facilitate retrospectives, and contribute to templates and process improvements.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of client businesses and ability to anticipate needs.
• Proven leadership experience, fostering high‑performing, collaborative teams.
• Strong strategic mindset for staffing models, financial forecasting, and portfolio planning.
• Experience with cross‑disciplinary integration and agency operating models.
