Program Coordinator – Physical Therapy Assistant (Full‑Time)

About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a dedicated Full‑Time Program Coordinator for its Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program. Reporting to the Dean of Health and Public Safety Technologies, you will blend faculty duties with program administration to ensure student success and program quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver PTA coursework using diverse teaching techniques and technology.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments while maintaining accurate student records.
• Lead recruitment, enrollment, retention, graduation, and job‑placement initiatives.
• Provide regular academic advising and maintain office hours for student support.
• Coordinate curriculum development, ensure compliance with state standards, and oversee health‑safety protocols in labs.
• Participate in faculty hiring, orientation, and payroll processes.
• Manage the program advisory committee and accreditation documentation.

Required profile

• Current or recent PTA certification and relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and assess competency.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Effective written and oral communication with students, faculty, and staff.
