Program Coordinator – Global Health

About the role

The Global Health Department at Georgetown University seeks a proactive Program Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of its academic and research programs. Reporting to the Department Chair, the coordinator will serve as the primary communication hub among faculty, students, alumni, and school administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chair and School of Health senior leadership with budget development, monitoring, and forecasting.
• Process financial transactions for faculty and student travel, purchases, and reimbursements.
• Maintain high student satisfaction through daily interaction, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of processes.
• Organize routine and special department events, manage logistics, and support guest speakers.
• Develop and maintain alumni relations, encouraging participation in departmental activities.
• Support curriculum enhancement, technology integration, and internship/study‑abroad administration.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and accounting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
