Program Analyst

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Program Analyst to provide equipment support to its government customer in Dahlgren, VA. The role covers programmatic and analytical support for the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of assigned programs and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Track program schedules, milestones, deliverables, action items and performance metrics to ensure requirements are completed on time.
• Analyze program data, identify trends, risks and issues, and recommend actions to program leadership.
• Support program plans, schedules, status reports, briefings, dashboards and other program management documentation.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors and technical teams to resolve programmatic issues.
• Prepare and present status updates, reports, briefings and decision-support information to management and customers.
• Participate in program meetings, technical reviews and working groups, documenting decisions and follow-up items.
• Maintain program records, correspondence and reports, and perform additional program analysis and administrative duties as needed.

Required profile

• Five years of work-related experience preparing complex technical documents and reports, or three years of specialized experience in financial planning and budgeting, IMS development and tracking, or coordination of task planning and schedules for DoD and Navy programs.
• Active Secret U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required to maintain it).
• Experience with technical progress and design reviews, and with producing technical reports, white papers and meeting inputs.

Required skills

• Substantial experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project and OneNote.
• Preferred: NAVIDAS and Navy ERP experience.
