Production Team Member, Bakehouse

About the role

As a Production Team Member in the bakehouse, you will work alongside fellow team members to meet and exceed daily production goals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, freshness, and sanitation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products according to recipes and scaling instructions.
• Follow daily prep lists, job assignments, and supervisor directions.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked coolers and shelves, rotating product as needed.
• Document and control product transfers, waste, spoilage, and ensure accurate product mix for dietary requirements.
• Adhere to food safety protocols (HACCP, FSMA) and complete required documentation.
• Monitor equipment safety and report issues to leadership.
• Use bakery equipment safely, including knives, hand trucks, six‑wheel carts, and balers.

Required profile

• Ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Comfort working in temperatures ranging from –10 °C to 100 °C.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic English reading and speaking skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Operation of bakery equipment (knives, hand trucks, carts, baler).
• Food safety compliance (HACCP, FSMA documentation).
