Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) leads all afternoon‑shift manufacturing activities at bimeda’s Le Sueur, MN facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, this hands‑on leader drives safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while championing continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the 2nd‑shift team to meet production specifications under cGMP, GDP and company policies.
• Manage critical inventory to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Act as a change agent, questioning the status quo and delivering measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain and optimise production schedules, daily metrics, downtime, scrap and rejects.
• Coach, develop and motivate employees through daily communication, accountability and team‑building.
• Facilitate training to ensure all staff meet cGMP/GDP competency standards.
• Report, investigate and resolve deviations from validated processes.
• Promote a safety‑first culture where employees stop the line for safety or quality concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising manufacturing operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive continuous‑improvement projects and manage inventory.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop a high‑performing team.
