Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the Water Soluble Powders and Tablets manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with MNOSHA safety rules, FDA cGMP standards and all local and federal regulations. This hands‑on leader will drive performance through employee development, accountability and continuous improvement while maintaining quality, safety and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in budget planning, manage production costs and pursue cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain clear communication with internal and external customers.
• Identify staffing, equipment and training needs to meet production demand.
• Champion continuous improvement across all production processes.
• Develop and coach employees, set performance goals and ensure SOP, safety and CGMP training compliance.
• Plan, direct and coordinate powder and tablet production, monitoring blending, milling, compression, coating and packaging operations.
• Provide technical guidance, approve investigations, protocols, qualification and validation documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader with strong supply‑chain and operations knowledge.
• Experience managing production in a regulated (cGMP) environment.
• Proven ability to solve production delays while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
