Production Technician – 2nd Shift (Entry Level)

About the role

Join Bimeda’s animal‑health manufacturing team as a Production Technician on the 2nd shift. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with packaging equipment, quality control, and compliance in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery to keep production flowing.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products and ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA standards.
• Complete batch records, equipment logs, and other production documentation accurately.
• Clean and maintain equipment and packaging areas, documenting all activities.
• Assist in training new team members and be open to cross‑training on other production tasks.
• Wear required respirators and follow all safety and health guidelines.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 20‑40 lb regularly and work a fast‑paced shift.
• Strong attention to detail, clear handwriting, and good documentation habits.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Required skills

• Packaging machinery operation and troubleshooting.
• cGMP and FDA documentation compliance.
• Forklift operation (preferred).
