Production & Press Brake Operator

About the role

Cordeck is seeking a Production & Press Brake Operator to join its Charlotte, NC facility. The position offers an inclusive culture, competitive pay, and the chance to learn the full manufacturing process from order generation to customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet daily production, quality, and shipment objectives.
• Set up and operate press brake and shear equipment.
• Complete and process metal deck orders, determining multi‑pass operation sequences.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, or templates to produce parts.
• Work with minimal supervision and communicate daily with managers.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist in other areas as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of metal fabrication experience, including press brake and shear set‑up.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
• First‑shift availability and flexibility to move between work areas.
• Self‑motivated, able to meet production targets with little supervision.
