Production Operator – Shift Flexibility – Up to $28/hr

About the role

As a Production Operator at 3M in New Ulm, MN, you will help keep the manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently, and with pride for the products and customers we serve. The role offers structured schedules, immediate benefits, and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safe work behaviors and identify hazards.
• Adhere to operating procedures and customer specifications to produce high‑quality products.
• Operate automated production, converting, molding, assembly, and packaging equipment while meeting output goals.
• Monitor processes, order and load materials, and perform quality inspections.
• Use computer controls to run equipment and record production data.
• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 8‑12 consecutive hours and overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of a job‑related readiness assessment.
• Capability to lift/carry heavy materials and wear required PPE.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
