Production Operator – Manufacturing Plant

About the role
Join 3M’s manufacturing team in Springfield, MO as a Production Operator. You will help produce and assemble a variety of products while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production machinery according to standard procedures.
- Load and unload materials to and from equipment.
- Monitor production and packaging operations to meet quality objectives.
- Perform data entry, record test results, and adjust processes to meet specifications.
- Handle hazardous waste in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (verified before start).
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, or a 12‑hour night/rotating shift (approx. 7 PM – 7 AM).
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Pass 3M‑selected testing if required.
