Production Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Moog is looking for a Production Operator‑2 to support its manufacturing operations in Blacksburg, VA. The role focuses on hands‑on assembly, testing and minor rework of precision components while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly operations using manufacturing documentation.
• Store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals, verifying calibration dates and seals.
• Conduct electrical testing with automated test equipment.
• Solder components, read blueprints and operate microscopes.
• Complete accurate paperwork for each part and execute minor rework following standard procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Quality‑conscious with good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
