Production Operator

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Blacksburg, VA. The role involves hands‑on assembly and testing of components in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly operations following manufacturing documentation.
• Store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals, ensuring calibration and seal integrity.
• Conduct electrical testing using automated test equipment.
• Solder components, read blueprints and operate microscopes for inspection.
• Complete required paperwork for each part accurately and legibly.
• Execute minor rework according to Standard Rework Procedures and Quality History Tag instructions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Quality‑conscious with mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.
