Production Operator I – Packaging (Day Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator I for packaging on the day shift at a Coca-Cola manufacturing facility. The role involves operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment to ensure safe, high-quality product output while supporting a sustainable production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load materials into production machines and unload finished packs.
• Set‑up, operate and adjust fillers, conveyors, palletizers and casing equipment for changeovers.
• Visually inspect incoming materials and outgoing products, performing minor adjustments and package integrity tests.
• Collect and dispose of waste, clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist forklift drivers with pallets, slip sheets and stretch wrappers.
• Identify and report non‑conforming product or equipment issues using intercoms or 2‑way radios.
• Monitor computer terminals and OIT screens for production alerts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
• Ability to follow instructions in English and work eight‑hour shifts, including overtime.
• Strong attendance, safety and teamwork record.
• Valid forklift license.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Operation of automated packaging equipment (fillers, palletizers, casing machines).
• Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment start‑up/shut‑down sequencing.
• Package integrity testing.
• Use of computer terminals and production monitoring screens.
