Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager at RWB Thrift oversees all activities in the production room, ensuring merchandise is efficiently rolled, priced, and prepared for the sales floor. This role links daily actions to overall productivity and business results, supporting a positive store environment and strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations, including processing, rolling, and recycling merchandise for the sales floor.
• Implement procedures that maximize productivity, minimize waste, and maintain consistent workflow.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure items meet company standards and address issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate Production Supervisors, fostering continuous improvement.
• Adjust staffing levels to meet fluctuating production demands and oversee scheduling and timekeeping.
• Participate in recruitment, interview candidates, and facilitate onboarding for new hires.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production or operations teams in a retail or thrift‑store setting.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on performance management.
• Ability to analyze workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
