Production Manager - 24/7 Manufacturing

About the role

Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business, is hiring a Production Manager for its Garden Street facility in Elyria, OH. The role leads 24/7 manufacturing operations and plant development, driving on-time delivery, world-class quality and lean transformation while building a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 manufacturing operations and plant development to meet goals, customer and company expectations.
• Lead all shifts to achieve on-time production and shipment, covering flow planning, troubleshooting, staff issues, orders and schedules.
• Develop employee relations and employee growth across the plant.
• Drive EH&S performance and build a strong safety culture.
• Implement sustainable manufacturing practices that support quality, on-time delivery and scrap performance below budget.
• Identify and act on plant improvement opportunities and execute quality systems in compliance with required processes.
• Build a team focused on excellence, accountability and open communication, and apply technical, problem-solving, risk, operations, RTO and lean practices.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree or equivalent with supervisory or managerial experience, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in complex 24/7 plant operations.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.
• Safety and OSHA experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work in plant, warehouse and office environments, possibly exposed to weather, noise and manufacturing conditions; PPE required where applicable.

• Compensation typically $115,000-$135,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, location and internal equity, with possible short- and long-term incentives.
