About the role
The Production Engineering Co‑op will support the design, development, improvement, and validation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for medical devices. You will work with global cross‑functional teams to enhance production efficiency, reduce defects, and ensure product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily production needs, defect reduction, and productivity improvements.
- Assist with process documentation, validation plans, protocols, and reports.
- Participate in failure investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Qualify and optimize processes and tooling through IQ/OQ/PQ, Gage R&R, and design of experiments.
Required profile
- Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing an engineering degree.
- Prior work experience preferred; medical‑device experience a plus.
- Authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methods; Green Belt certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of SAP desired.
