Production Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to support a leading fashion brand in New York City. The role bridges design, sourcing, and manufacturing, ensuring new styles move smoothly from concept to market across international channels.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with design teams to translate trends into executable samples, coordinating with overseas factories.
• Maintain daily PLM updates and Google Sheets WIP tracking to monitor production milestones.
• Release tech packs via PLM, manage record‑keeping, and coordinate sample requests following the sourcing strategy.
• Participate in cross‑functional milestone meetings with Global License, Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising.
• Track shipments through UPS, FedEx, or DHL, log and distribute packages to internal partners.
• Conduct seasonal visits to vendor showrooms and support brand collaborations and innovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with the T&A calendar, cost quoting, and PO edits, escalating issues as needed.
• Develop and improve tracking and record‑keeping systems and own special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in fashion product development or production coordination.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities with a high sense of urgency.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple accessory categories simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PLM systems.
• Advanced Google Sheets (and Excel) skills.
• Familiarity with logistics platforms such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
