Production Coordinator II

About the role
The Production Coordinator II supports Rocket Lab’s manufacturing operations at the Long Beach headquarters. Working closely with production planners, the coordinator tracks work order status, expedites deliveries, and removes obstacles to keep the assembly line moving on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Fulfill production work orders within the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Release kit requests to inventory and ensure parts are available for assembly.
- Prioritize and expedite sub‑assemblies to meet integration timelines.
- Identify and clear blockers such as issue tickets, part shortages, or yield losses.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve company‑wide production goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to work in a team‑oriented, cross‑functional setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
