Production Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Production Associate to perform clean‑up and support activities throughout our Dodson lumber mill. The role involves operating various hand and mobile equipment, working on multiple surfaces and heights, and helping keep the mill running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clean‑up activities inside and outside the mill using brooms, shovels, rakes, air hoses and wheelbarrows.
• Operate tractors, forklifts and bobcats to move trash barrels, heavy debris and log‑yard material.
• Work on catwalks, concrete, gravel, dirt and mud surfaces, including second‑floor areas that require a harness.
• Feed or place items onto processing equipment and load/unload machines.
• Cross‑train in production roles and fill in when short‑handed on day or night shifts.
• Follow all safety rules, wear required personal protective equipment and interpret work instructions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and in extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, night shifts and weekends.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
