Product Technology Manager

About the role

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a Product Technology Manager to serve as the technical liaison between the company, its customers, and internal teams. Based in Liberty, SC, you will educate users, support sales, and contribute to product development for fire protection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer technical inquiries via phone and email and provide detailed product guidance.
• Deliver technical training for internal personnel and external customers, including hands‑on and classroom sessions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and training materials.
• Meet with specifying engineers, end‑users, and industry associations to discuss product features, benefits, and applications.
• Support Product Development Engineering, Program Management Office, and Sales teams with product input and troubleshooting.
• Represent Reliable at industry events such as AFSA, NFPA, NFSA, and SFPE.

Required profile

• Associate degree in fire protection, mechanical technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler system design and installation.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50 % domestically and operate a pickup‑truck/trailer combination safely.

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of NFPA standards and FM Global Loss Prevention Data Sheets.
• Extensive experience with fire sprinkler system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
