Product Manager - Workday Security

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Product Manager for its Workday Security product line, working virtually from Georgia. The role delivers business value to drive sales, improve efficiency and improve customer satisfaction by driving product changes with developers, designers and business partners, supporting business reviews and presenting to all levels of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning (40%): turn customer and associate needs into product strategy, set goals and metrics, run end-user research to define MVP, partner with Finance on business plans, and monitor the competitive landscape and industry innovations
• Delivery and execution (30%): align the product with priorities, document and review quality and change control standards, create, prioritize and accept user stories, take part in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives, and explain technical concepts simply to stakeholders
• People (30%): collaborate with engineering and UX designers, advocate for modern software development practices, manage stakeholder expectations and communicate the long-term product strategy

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: 1-3 years of relevant experience, including as a Product Manager in a modern software development environment
• Preferred: experience with Agile, XP, paired programming, test-driven development and continuous deployment
• Preferred: experience with user research, competitive analysis and user story management
