Product Manager, Cybersecurity

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Product Manager to lead its cybersecurity portfolio. You will shape strategy, decide on product direction and partnerships, and act as the public face of Anthropic’s security offerings with CISOs, vendors, researchers and policymakers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for outcomes.
• Ship security products, starting with vulnerability discovery and remediation in Claude Code and expanding to broader capabilities.
• Represent Anthropic externally with CISOs, security vendors, researchers, governments and the press.
• Partner with research teams to identify model security gaps and drive improvement plans.
• Collaborate with safeguards, policy, legal, sales, engineering and communications to keep cross‑functional initiatives moving.

Required profile

• Significant experience in security – building security products, leading security teams, or hands‑on work in application security, detection and response, vulnerability research, or offensive security.
• Proven track record of building products or businesses from scratch and taking them to paying customers.
• Ability to design for future model capabilities, treating current limitations as research targets while delivering interim solutions.
• Strong product judgment and technical depth to evaluate findings and determine their validity.
• Willingness to perform unglamorous work and communicate effectively with CISOs, researchers and executives.
