Product Expert – Health Data

About the role

Veeva is seeking a Product Expert for its Compass suite to own post‑sales relationships with health‑data customers. You will guide onboarding, training, data ingest, and ongoing value creation while acting as the voice of the customer for product roadmap decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements from contracting through adoption as the primary contact.
• Understand each customer’s strategic objectives and data‑analytics workflows to ensure success with Compass.
• Maintain detailed account information, interaction histories, and health metrics in Veeva Vault.
• Provide best‑practice guidance on Compass access, usage, and new releases.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal Veeva teams (Account Partners, Business Consulting, Strategy, Product).
• Collect and analyze feedback, identify product gaps, and contribute to roadmap planning.
• Create external collateral such as user guides, training decks, and feature briefs.

Required profile

• 6+ years in a customer‑facing consulting or health‑tech role, or internal analytics role at a life‑sciences company.
• Experience with industry data products/partners such as IQVIA and Komodo.
• Deep knowledge of life‑sciences use cases (patient analytics, segmentation, field alerts, incentive compensation).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and proactive approach to customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills for both business and technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
