Product Designer – HMI

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Product Designer to create elegant, immersive, production‑level Human‑Machine Interfaces for next‑generation vehicles. You will shape the design direction of a strategically important project and work closely with OEM partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design lifecycle from concept through production.
• Engage directly with OEMs to uncover use‑cases and user pain points.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop and validate design solutions for embedded software and companion devices.
• Rapidly ship new features within fast release cycles.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience designing embedded devices and consumer‑facing products.
• Strong visual and interaction design abilities.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Nice to have: experience with in‑vehicle experiences, a 3D portfolio, and user research strategy.
