Product Complaint Supervisor

About the role

The Product Complaint Supervisor leads the Endoscopy Complaint Management Center team in Costa Rica, ensuring that product complaints are handled with the highest quality, regulatory compliance, and a strong focus on patient safety. This hybrid position combines on‑site oversight with remote collaboration to drive continuous improvement across complaint processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily complaint management operations, monitoring metrics, work‑in‑progress, and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise and develop a small team of product complaint analysts, providing performance management and coaching.
• Review complaint records for regulatory compliance, reportability, and potential impact on patient safety.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Safety, and Marketing/Sales teams on adverse events and act as liaison with key internal groups.
• Contribute to global post‑market quality projects, aligning strategies across multiple geographic locations.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardized processes and feedback mechanisms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Licentiate’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electronic, Biotechnology, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related health field.
• 2–3 years of experience in product complaint handling or a similar quality role.
• English proficiency at 80‑90% level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or manage collaborative projects.
