Purchasing Manager, Global Procurement Center

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will lead global procurement teams to ensure supply continuity, meet inventory targets, and support manufacturing requirements for a leading medical technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead purchasing teams in executing strategic and tactical procurement activities.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as supplier performance, PO execution, inventory health, and service levels.
• Facilitate operational reviews and provide updates on purchase order status, supply risks, and recovery plans.
• Drive cross‑functional improvement initiatives to close process gaps and increase efficiency.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align purchasing priorities with business objectives.
• Manage supplier escalations and actions that mitigate supply, inventory, and operational risks.
• Develop team capability through performance objectives, talent reviews, and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement or manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of experience leading people managers or purchasing teams.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably medical technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
