About the role
Join Pathmark's Produce Department to sort, display, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring high quality and excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, rotate, and store incoming produce, maintaining quality standards.
- Stock and organize display cases, keeping the department neat and fully stocked.
- Assist customers with product knowledge, recommendations, and safe handling tips.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, fixtures, and the produce cooler daily.
Required profile
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lb, and work in varying temperatures.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Required skills
- Operation of slicer, scale, can‑opener, wrapping machine, rotisserie, fryer, cheese grater/cutter, case cutter, and stove/oven.
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetable varieties, including seasonal items.
