Procurement Supervisor

About the role

The Procurement Supervisor will support Fibrebond’s manufacturing campus in Minden, Louisiana by ensuring the supply chain has the right information and materials to serve internal and external customers. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to balance inventory levels, freight costs, and short‑term execution for an assigned value stream.

Key responsibilities

• Drive supply chain improvements and supervise raw‑material inventory levels.
• Own material planning and track inventory transactions to meet demand.
• Identify cost‑saving and cost‑out opportunities for assigned commodities.
• Ensure supplier quality and compliance with Eaton’s supplier policies.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, quality, and invoicing.
• Create commodity plans, negotiate with suppliers, and conduct cost‑benefit analyses.
• Support procurement of capital material for CAPEX projects.
• Utilize ERP systems and Lean methodology for procurement planning and resolve invoice/receipt discrepancies.
• Recommend improvements to purchasing functions and follow standard departmental processes.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Five or more years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and make data‑driven decisions.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
