Resident Maintenance Technician 2 – Night Shift

About the role

The Electro‑Mechanical Technician Level 2 provides day‑to‑day troubleshooting, flow control and preventative/predictive maintenance on material handling equipment at the Minden, NV site. This is a night‑shift position (5:00 PM – 3:30 AM) working Saturday to Tuesday, with overtime as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines, complete documentation, and close work orders in the asset management system.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems, respond to semi‑complex service calls, and address equipment failures.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory and ensure accurate recording of labor hours and parts used.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational technical training preferred.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lb, bend, stretch, climb ladders, and stand/walk up to 10–12 hours per shift.
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts, holidays, and overtime as needed.
