Procurement Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Discotoast Studios is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for its creative and digital projects. This full‑time remote position supports the studio’s operations by ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service‑level agreements.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and service performance.
• Analyze spending patterns and recommend cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records using ERP or procurement tools.
• Prepare reports to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement processes and purchase‑order management.
• Supplier management and performance monitoring experience.
• Contract negotiation expertise, including terms, pricing, and SLAs.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret spend data and assess risk.
• Familiarity with procurement or ERP software and proficiency with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple requests in a remote environment.
• Relevant post‑secondary education in supply chain, business, finance, or equivalent experience; certifications such as CPSM or CSCP are a plus.
