Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage all indirect purchases for three L’Occitane brands in North America, overseeing a spend of over USD 100 M and a supplier base of around 1,000. This role combines strategic sourcing, contract management, and sustainability initiatives to drive cost efficiency and responsible procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RFI, RFP and RFQ processes in partnership with Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Digital, Sales and Sustainability teams.
• Run strategic sourcing projects and conduct financial analysis to ensure negotiation outcomes meet business expectations.
• Review, negotiate and manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify and implement process improvements for day‑to‑day procurement activities.
• Develop win‑win supplier relationships and propose innovative suppliers, services and materials.
• Engage suppliers in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability programs.
• Report monthly and quarterly results and KPIs to Leadership and Finance.
• Collaborate with the global Procurement community to benchmark and share best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Experience in indirect procurement, especially Marketing and Merchandising categories in the U.S. market.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings and avoidance.
