Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) guides semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification. You will provide high‑visibility on‑site customer support, perform system diagnoses, and service complex equipment. The role works closely with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between customers and the Business Unit, ensuring clear understanding of issues and delivery of solutions.
• Optimize tool performance on‑site to meet customer process and integration requirements.
• Perform on‑site installations, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex systems.
• Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or a similar high‑tech industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD).
• Knowledge of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD).
• Knowledge of Plasma Reactive Ion Etch (RIE).
• Knowledge of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD).
• Knowledge of Anneal and Implant processes.
• Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology.
• Statistical data analysis.
