Process Support Engineer III

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you will guide products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to final qualification. You will provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of issues and delivery of solutions.
• Work closely with customers to optimize tool performance and meet process integration requirements.
• Check and approve operational quality of system equipment and instruct customers in operation and maintenance.
• Perform on‑site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high‑tech industry.
• 5+ years experience in applications or process engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of three or more processes on one or more technologies such as Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, and Implant.
• Statistical data analysis and design of experiments (DOE) for process engineering.
• Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex process and equipment issues.
