PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist

About the role

Join Mindoula’s growing psychiatric team in the Washington DC metro area as a PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist. This part‑time, W‑2 position offers flexibility while delivering high‑quality care at Holy Cross Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, history reviews, exams, and psychological testing.
• Diagnose patients, develop evidence‑based treatment plans, and prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications.
• Provide crisis intervention, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver virtual outpatient psychiatric services as needed and support care coordination with case managers, families, and external providers.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Psychiatrist with a Maryland medical license, active DEA and CDS.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care in an inpatient setting.

• Comprehensive psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
