Private Client Advisor (Remote)

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Private Client Advisor on its Client Advisory team, working remotely. The advisor reviews client exposures, loss experiences and current coverages, recommends products and services, and builds long-term relationships with high net worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client exposures, loss experiences and current coverages and recommend tailored products and services
• Present accurate market data from reliable sources and provide proactive day-to-day client service by phone, email or in person
• Gather information on risk management needs and financial loss tolerance, then evaluate and propose solutions
• Create and present renewal proposals and conduct annual Client Advisory reviews
• Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to offer comprehensive coverage options while complying with industry laws and regulations
• Drive client retention and new business through referrals and expanded client programs

Required profile

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience with high net worth clientele
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Client service orientation with a balance of managing expectations
• Willingness to travel for client and company meetings as needed
• A Bachelor's degree and professional designations (e.g. CPCU, CIC, CPRIA) are a plus but not required
• Experience with luxury carriers such as AIG, Chubb and PURE is a plus

• Base salary of $52,600 to $98,000, with possible performance-based incentives
