Print Shop Manager

About the role

ABC Imaging is seeking a proactive Print Shop Manager with solid experience in large‑format printing. The role is on‑site and involves overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring production quality, and meeting client deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with shop and remote leadership to provide administrative and managerial support.
• Organize the shop workforce during regular and extra‑hour situations.
• Monitor jobs in production, communicate special instructions, proofs, and shipping details.
• Contact clients to clarify specifications and resolve questions.
• Ensure project deadlines and cost budgets are met.
• Train staff on proper production procedures and maintain equipment.
• Manage inventory, recommend new acquisitions, and handle customer escalations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in printing, specifically large‑format printing.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate employees.
• Excellent customer service skills, both phone and in‑person.
• Highly developed organizational ability and multitasking skills.
