Principal Value Advisor, DX

About the role

Atlassian is hiring a Principal Value Advisor for its DX team, a highly influential individual contributor role focused on driving customer success. The advisor shapes and delivers strategic value engagements with customers, defines the value proposition of DX solutions, drives innovation and sets the standard for customer-centricity. The role is listed as remote, with travel of up to 15-20% expected for customer-facing meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with senior customer executives to understand their organizations, processes and objectives, and build personalized relationships with key decision-makers.
• Interpret customer industry, strategy and financial data to identify trends and opportunities, and develop business cases and metrics for value adoption.
• Produce executive-level storylines, presentations and visuals, and handle objections with C-level executives.
• Contribute to new VMO solutions and lead practice-level strategic initiatives aligned with DX strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and customers, collaborating across functions and influencing alignment.
• Share knowledge, support field teams on value-based selling, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in value consulting, management or strategy consulting, quantitative research and analysis, with exposure to cloud technologies and digital transformation.
• Extensive experience in value management and a track record of leading complex, cross-functional engagements across many customer industries.
• Mastery of financial modeling, business case development and value articulation at the executive level.
• Thought leadership, mentoring and a commitment to building the practice operating model.

What we offer

• Base pay for new hires in the US: Zone A $228,000-$297,667, Zone B $205,200-$267,900, Zone C $189,240-$247,063
