Principal Program Manager – Enterprise Systems Transformation

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to lead high‑visibility, enterprise‑wide Digital Technology initiatives that support a strategic corporate restructuring in Washington, D.C. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, partnering with C‑suite leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units and DT stakeholders (Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, Agility Enablement) to align priorities and maintain integrated delivery plans.
• Build and manage an end‑to‑end master schedule, translating restructuring priorities into technology delivery tracks and clarifying cross‑portfolio dependencies.
• Establish governance cadences, reporting mechanisms, and execution routines to ensure predictable delivery across product and project teams.
• Identify and mitigate cross‑portfolio risks, escalating critical blockers to executive leadership.
• Drive organizational change, communicate technical transitions, and ensure regulatory and operational readiness.
• Define, track, and analyze success metrics to validate program value and guide continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 11‑15+ years of progressive experience managing large‑scale enterprise program management and technology transformations.
• Deep understanding of corporate systems and asset‑related processes, preferably within complex SAP environments (Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain).
• Proven expertise as a master scheduler or in constructing multi‑layered enterprise program schedules.
• Strong proficiency in agile methodologies, with hands‑on experience in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.
