Principal Product Designer

About the role

Range is building an AI‑powered wealth‑management platform and needs a senior designer to own the product experience end‑to‑end, from problem definition to production shipping.

Key responsibilities

• Define product direction, prototype rapidly with AI tools, and ship solutions, sometimes the same day.
• Set design direction across multiple product surfaces, evolve the design system, and ensure a unified member experience.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to influence strategy and clarify ambiguous problems.
• Mentor and grow other designers, raising the overall quality of design across the organization.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product design experience with a track record of shipping end‑to‑end web and mobile solutions.
• Strong visual design sensibility, attention to pixel‑level detail, and ability to think both systemically and at the interaction level.
• Comfort using AI‑driven prototyping tools and a bias toward rapid iteration.
• High judgement, persuasive communication, and a focus on member‑centric outcomes.

Required skills

• Deep proficiency in Figma (component architecture, auto‑layout, design tokens).
• Experience with AI prototyping tools such as Lovable or Claude.
