Principal Investigator – Internal Medicine (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing clinical research organization seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Principal Investigator on industry‑sponsored trials. This part‑time position offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to innovative therapeutic development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead industry‑sponsored clinical trials as Principal Investigator.
• Provide medical oversight and ensure participant safety throughout study conduct.
• Review eligibility criteria, adverse events, and protocol deviations.
• Collaborate with study coordinators, sponsors, and CRO partners.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, ICH‑GCP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support patient recruitment and retention initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain one).
• Clinical research experience preferred, but experienced clinicians new to research are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Availability to work approximately three days per week on‑site.
