About the role

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a board‑certified Primary Care Physician to join its expanding primary care team. The physician will deliver high‑quality diagnostic and treatment services to patients in a coastal, fast‑growing setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in the clinic, adhering to state and national standards.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Collaborate with specialists to explore complex health conditions.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient experiences.

Required profile

  • MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited residency.
  • Board certification in primary care or a related field.
  • Valid, unrestricted South Carolina medical license, DEA, and SC Controlled Substance licenses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

  • Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in prescribing medications and treatment plans.
  • Ability to collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams.
