Ochsner Health is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join its primary care team in Algiers, Louisiana. The role involves delivering comprehensive, non‑surgical medical care to children and adults while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary staff.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases and injuries for patients of all ages.
• Develop individualized care plans that include medical history review, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals when necessary.
• Communicate treatment options and care plans with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists while maintaining overall responsibility for patient continuity of care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).
• Active license to practice medicine in Louisiana.
• Completion of an accredited family medicine residency.
