Preventive Medicine Physician – $400k Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a Preventive Medicine Physician to join the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. In this active‑duty position you will protect the health and readiness of service members through disease prevention, health promotion, and operational medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement public‑health strategies that enhance force readiness.
• Provide clinical preventive services in military treatment facilities or embedded operational environments.
• Conduct epidemiologic surveillance and outbreak response.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate preventive medicine into mission planning.
• Maintain medical readiness records and ensure compliance with military health regulations.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or ECFMG certified).
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Preventive Medicine residency (or final‑year resident).
• Board‑eligible/board‑certified in Preventive Medicine (or final‑year resident).
• U.S. citizenship and age between 21 and 57.
