Preschool Sports Program Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes, a multi-sport enrichment program founded in 2003 with over 50,000 children enrolled each year, is looking for coaches for its preschool sports program. Coaches teach life skills through 10 different sports using a non-competitive, positive approach, with individual attention for each child. New coaches can work 5-25 classes a week and earn $20-25 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Teach children in a multi-sport program using the company's ready-made curriculums and coaching manual.
• Use individual attention, a non-competitive approach and positive reinforcement to make classes fun and stress-free.
• Travel up to an hour to class locations held at preschools, day-care centers, parks and recreational centers.

Required profile

• Availability for most classes in the mornings and early afternoons and on weekends; ideal availability includes Monday-Friday 9:00-4:00 and weekends 8:00-1:00.
• A genuine love of working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• A minimum of 12 ECE credits is preferred but not required.
