About the role
Ardent Preschool, an award-winning preschool and daycare serving families across Birmingham and Huntsville, is hiring a Preschool / Daycare Teacher for its Trace Crossings location. Full-time and part-time openings are available.
Key responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate lessons and engaging activities
- Support children's emotional, social and cognitive development
- Maintain positive communication with parents and families
- Ensure compliance with safety and licensing guidelines
Required profile
- Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Passion for early childhood education
- Dependable, positive and professional attitude
- Team-oriented mindset
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply; bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Schedule options
- Part-time Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Part-time Monday-Friday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling may be available depending on classroom needs and availability
