PR Manager

About the role

eBay is looking for a PR Manager to join its global communications team, focusing on the Collectibles and eBay Live business priorities. Based in San Jose, you will work closely with regional and global colleagues across communications, marketing, brand, and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Advance eBay’s consumer narrative and value proposition for Collectibles and eBay Live.
• Design and execute integrated communications strategies that leverage data, insights, and emerging tools such as AI.
• Collaborate with consumer PR teammates, vertical leads, and corporate communications partners.
• Provide strategic counsel and executional support to marketing and business‑unit teams.
• Manage global agency partners on key campaigns and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with media covering pop culture, lifestyle, sports, and collectibles.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of consumer PR experience, preferably with both agency and in‑house exposure.
• Strong enthusiasm for pop culture, sports, trading‑card games, and collectibles.
• Ability to translate cultural moments into compelling news stories.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative global environment.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (three days onsite, two days remote).
